Here is a really beautiful well maintained Carl Barney 16" Jazz Maker Deluxe Arch top. Everything about this guitar is high-end and top quality. Carl has been building guitars since 1968 and has built guitars for Bucky Pizzarelli, Mundell Lowe, Tony Lombardozzi, and Sal Salvador. Carl was also a major wood distributor for high-quality red spruce and curly maple, as well as other exotic woods. Carl processed all of his own spruce and maple from full logs on site at the saw mill. He then processed the lumber using the band saw in his shop, cutting all of his wood quarter-sawn with minimal run out, resulting in very lightweight, stiff backs, sides, and tops. This guitar is a perfect example of the woods Carl offered over the years and built his instruments out of. This guitar is loud and clear with excellent note separation. It is fitted with a floating Kent Armstrong pickup and comes with a TKL hard shell case. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have or if you would like additional pictures.
