FM16
The FM16 was designed from the ground up for Faton Macula. The guitar includes an ultralight laminated spruce top and an ultralight laminated curly maple back, with solid curly maple sides. It was specially designed to be less delicate than a traditional carve top, but still feature the characteristics of a hand-carved instrument.
This new laminate design results in a more durable guitar with an increased ability to withstand temperature and humidity changes. The sound is warm and resonate, with very little acoustic volume lost. Aesthetically, the guitar is a variation of my archtop design, with an increased upper bout and a slightly elongated cutaway.
This guitar also features a floating Lindy Fralin Modern P.A.F which results in the traditional sound of a P.A.F but with a thicker, warmer tone.
